- Graduates are eligible to sit for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification exam
- Designed for those who have completed a radiologic technology program and want to specialize in cancer treatment
- CAMPEP-accredited residency program in therapeutic medical physics
- Provides two years of intensive clinical training within CARTI’s radiation oncology department
- Prepares graduates for board certification through the American Board of Radiology (ABR)
- Residents gain experience with advanced technologies including linear accelerators, brachytherapy and treatment planning systems
- Emphasizes safety, precision and patient-centered care in radiation therapy
- Designed to train and deploy research coordinators across Arkansas, with emphasis on underserved and rural communities
- One-year paid training includes orientation, didactics, mentorship, and ongoing assessments
- Covers core competencies such as clinical trial design, ethical research conduct, regulatory compliance, patient navigation, and data integrity
- Trainees receive certifications in Human Subject Protection and Good Clinical Practice
- Graduates support oncology clinical trials directly within CARTI cancer centers and community sites
- Emphasizes outreach, trust-building, and increasing clinical trial participation among underrepresented populations
- Offers a clear career pathway with advancement to roles such as Clinical Research Associate, Trial Manager, or Regulatory Affairs Specialist
- Trainees who complete the program are offered a full-time Clinical Research Coordinator I position
