Volunteer Opportunities
The success of CARTI and the caring atmosphere that has been cultivated over the years would not have been possible without the help of so many who give of themselves. For this very reason, CARTI provides opportunities for volunteers who enjoy working with patients.
Volunteer opportunities abound at CARTI. Hosts and hostesses add a caring touch to some of our CARTI waiting rooms, serving coffee, distributing magazines and sharing smiles. All a big part of what makes CARTI feel more like a family than just a facility. These volunteers are needed Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m., filling shifts scheduled weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. For volunteers who prefer to assist with office duties, there are opportunities with flexible hours.
Volunteers are also needed year round for CARTI's special fundraising events held by the CARTI Auxiliary and the CARTI Foundation.

The CARTI/Little Rock Auxiliary
The CARTI/Little Rock Auxiliary is dedicated to the care of cancer patients. Since it was founded in 1977, the Auxiliary has provided thousands of volunteer hours as well as over a million dollars in financial assistance to CARTI. The Auxiliary meets the last Monday (September-May) of each month. Programs are presented on a wide variety of topics.
Annual dues for the Auxiliary are $25. Lifetime memberships are $200 and can be paid over a two-year period. Members receive monthly notification of meetings as well as a yearbook, CARTI newsletters and invitations to CARTI functions.
The Auxiliary presents Festival of Trees, a multi-day, multi-event holiday festival, each year as its fundraiser. Festival of Trees offers many volunteer opportunities, throughout the year. Please follow the Festival of Trees link for more information.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES IN SEARCY
CARTI/Searcy Auxiliary
The CARTI/Searcy Auxiliary is whole-heartedly dedicated to the care of cancer patients in Searcy and the surrounding areas. Since its founding in 1988, this Auxiliary has provided thousands of volunteer hours to CARTI/Searcy. The CARTI/Searcy Auxiliary meets four times a year (September-May) with programs presented on a wide variety of topics.
The CARTI/Searcy Auxiliary's annual fundraiser is the Luminary Project. Luminaries are displayed during the Light Up White County event. Each luminary sold bears the name of a person or persons being honored or remembered by the purchaser.
Annual dues for the Auxiliary are $10. Lifetime memberships are $100 and can be paid over a two-year period. Members receive notification of meetings as well as a yearbook, CARTI newsletters and invitations to CARTI functions.
About The Luminary Project
Each year members of the CARTI/Searcy Auxiliary help light up the Searcy square and raise funds for area cancer patients with their Luminary Project. Donors purchase luminary sacks bearing the names of people they wish to honor or memorialize. The sacks are placed around the White County Courthouse and are lit several evenings in early December.

Splash into Spring
Join us in Mountain Home in May for Splash into Spring. This luncheon and fashilon show features a live and silent auction and a wonderful time.
