CARTI Fundraising Events
CARTI relies on the generous support of the communities it serves to continue to provide the best available care for patients and their families. Several fundraising events are held throughout the year to raise money for necessary programs and equipment, including patient transportation vans, wheelchairs, chair lifts, massage therapy, screening kits, patient retreats, support programs and much more.

CARTI Auxiliary Festival of Trees
One of Arkansas' premier holiday events, the CARTI Auxiliary's Festival of Trees began as Tux 'n Trees in 1976. That event was held on one evening in CARTI's waiting room with decorated Christmas trees as the fundraising focus.
While the creatively decorated trees are still the focal point, Festival of Trees has grown a great deal from those early days.
Festival of Trees is now a three-day holiday festival where guests can enjoy one or more of eight different events. The events offer something for all ages and all pocketbooks, from blue-jean casual, general-admission events to a festive black-tie cocktail party.

Held at the River Market pavilions, the New Orleans-flavored event features all-you-can-eat Cajun food, drinks, live music and more. Its a little slice of Mardi Gras, all for a good cause.

CARTI Auxiliary Searcy Holiday Luminaries
Each Christmas season, members of the CARTI/Searcy Auxiliary help light up the White County courthouse square in Searcy and raise funds for area cancer patients with their Luminary Project. Donors purchase luminary sacks bearing the names of people they wish to honor or memorialize. The sacks are placed around the White County Courthouse and are lit several evenings in early December.
